CAMDEN, Del. - Two men have been arrested in connection with the discharging of homemade explosive devices in the Walmart in Camden.
According to the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office, the incident happened on September 21. Investigators were called to the scene around 6:30 that night to check out two suspicious devices blown up inside two different restrooms.
An investigation eventually led to Malcolm A. Casson, 21, and Bradford J. Husfelt, 20. Both are from the Dover area.
Casson and Husfelt have both been charged with two counts of manufacturing and use of an explosive device, two counts of 2nd degree conspiracy, and two counts of reckless exploding. Casson was sent to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center last week in lieu of a $6000 secured bond. Husfelt was released Tuesday on a $12,000 unsecured bond.
According to the fire marshal's office, there was only a small amount of damage inside the restrooms and no reports of injuries. Investigators also expect additional arrests in this case.
