Dover Man Arrested for Robbery at Dover Downs Casino

DOVER, Del.- A Dover man is facing charges following accusations that he robbed an 81-year-old man who was redeeming a slot machine voucher at Dover Downs Casino.

The Delaware Division of Gaming Enforcement says that on Sept. 25, Earl Marsh, 27-year-old Earl M. Marsh of Dover came up on the victim from behind, grabbed the payout and ran out of the casino.

DGE says an investigation eventually led to a search of Marsh's home and his arrest on Wednesday.

He was charged with second-degree strong-armed robbery and violation of parole. Marsh was sent to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $5,000 secured bond.
