Two Charged in Federalsburg Firearms Theft

FEDERALSBURG, Md.- Deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office have arrested two people accused of breaking into a Federalsburg home and stealing more than $9,000 worth of firearms.

Amanda Nicole Hahn, 18, of Federalsburg and Christopher Eric Glanden, 22, of East New Market, are both charged with 20 counts of theft under $1,000, two counts of theft over $1,000 but under $10,000, theft over $10,000 but under $100,000 and fourth-degree burglary with intent to commit theft.

According to police, the two were arrested in connection with an incident that occurred Wednesday, Oct. 23. Investigators said the pair entered the home on Scarlett Lane and stole 19 different weapons from a gun safe and embezzled $1,650 in cash.

Hahn reportedly lived at the Scarlett Lane home.

Following their arrests on the aforementioned charges, Glanden and Hahn were ordered held on $100,000 and $10,000 bonds respectively.
