Easton Man Arrested for Two Domestic Violence Incidents

EASTON, Md.- Easton police on Monday arrested a man accused of trying to smother his wife in one incident and allegedly attempting to choke his wife on a different occasion.

According to the arrest warrant, 44-year-old Mark Patrick McCue of Easton had at least two violent incidents with his wife between October 2012 and May 2013.

Police said McCue allegedly attempted to smother his wife with a pillow in the October incident, and then allegedly tried to choke her in May.  Police said both incidents occurred while a protective order was in place.

McCue was taken into custody and ordered held without bond on two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of violating an ex parte order, two counts of trespassing and one count of intoxicated endangerment.
