Police: Woman Damages Ex-Boyfriend's Vehicles After Facebook Argument

SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities say a Salisbury woman was arrested Wednesday for damaging her ex-boyfriend's two vehicles, the result of an argument over Facebook postings.

Shateshia Michette Williams, 20, is charged with malicious destruction of property.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office reports that on Wednesday morning, a deputy responded to a home on the 1700 block of Dale Lane to investigate an act of vandalism. Police said that upon arrival, the deputy learned that that Williams went to the home and smashed out the windows of two vehicles that belonged to her ex-boyfriend. Police said that during the investigation the deputy learned the situation arose from an argument over Facebook postings.

The deputy located and arrested Williams nearby. Following her arrest on the aforementioned charge, Williams was released on personal recognizance.
