Dover PD Search for Armed Robbery Suspect: Surveillance Video Attached

DOVER, Del.- The Dover Police Department is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery Wednesday at the Driftwood Spirits Liquor Store in Dover.

According to police, a black male suspect went into the store, located at 153 South Bradford St., at approximately 12:50 p.m. While inside, police said the suspect removed a bottle of alcohol from a display and approached the cashier, displaying a handgun in his waistband and demanding money.

Police said the suspect then left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years of age, wearing tan boots, a gray hooded sweatshirt and an orange, flat-brimmed hat, possible with the Miami Hurricanes logo on it. Surveillance video can be viewed here.
