Salisbury Man Critically Injured After Grease Fire


SALISBURY, Md- A Salisbury man was hospitalized for burns and smoke inhalation after a grease fire in his home.

Firefighters responded to the call just before 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at a home on the 27000 block on Riverside Drive. State fire marshals said 43-year-old James Harrington sustained burns while he was trying to extinguish the fire.

He was treated PRMC before getting transported to Bayview Burn Center for additional treatment. Harrington was listed in critical condition.

Investigators said the fire caused about $15,000 in damages to the home and $5,000 in damages to the contents inside.
