WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police say nine children were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a crash involving a school bus and a car in Wilmington.
Wilmington police say a Nissan Versa hit the right rear side of the bus at the intersection of West Fourth Street and North Lincoln Street on Friday morning.
Police say nine children, ranging in age from 9 to 14, on the East Side Charter School bus were taken to Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and police say they have not issued any citations.
Water restrictions are in effect in Ocean City as a third person drowns in a rip current.
