GREENSBORO (WBOC) - Charges are pending against a driver after he ran a stop sign and hit a school bus filled with children. Caroline County police say 19-year-old Michael Keener of Annapolis was driving a Hyundai Accent down Goldsboro Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The car kept going and was struck by the school bus.
Keenner and 21-year-old passenger, Jenna Quataman of Annapolis, both sustained injuries. Keener was taken to Kent General. Quataman was flown to shock trauma.
48 children from Greensboro Elementary were on the bus when it hit Keener's car. All of the children are okay.
