Suspects Sought in Lewes Home Invasion

LEWES, Del.- Delaware State Police are asking the public's help in locating two suspects wanted in connection with an early Monday home invasion in Lewes.

According to investigators, the home invasion took place at around 5:45 a.m. at a home on the 28000 block of Lewes-Georgetown Highway. Police said the 23-year-old male victim awoke to find the suspects in his bedroom. One suspect reportedly stayed with the victim in his room while the second suspect left the room. When the suspects left the home, police said the man discovered jewelry, cash, electronics and two pit bull puppies missing. Police said no one was injured during the incident.

Authorities said the first suspect was described as a black male and wearing a bandana over his face. According to investigators, the second suspect was of an unknown race and wearing a bandana over his face.
