Maryland Man Killed by Barn Collapse

 JARRETTSVILLE, Md. (AP) - Officials say a man was killed when a barn collapsed in Jarrettsville.

It happened about 3 p.m. Wednesday on Furnace Road. Harford County Fire and EMS Association spokeswoman says the man was working inside the bar when the roof caved in.

Edward Hopkins, a spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, says the man was found trapped under the roof of the structure. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
