Wanted Sex Offender in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del.- Members of the Delaware Sate Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit are looking for a Millsboro man wanted for failure to register his sex offender status.

Police say they have obtained a warrant for 29-year-old Jawan Colson, who is a Tier III sex offender, after they learned that he failed to register as required by law.

Colson is described as black, 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say he might be in the Dover or Millsboro areas.

The DSP Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone who may know the location of Colson to call 911 or (302) 672-5306. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
