DOVER, Del.- Dover police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of breaking into a liquor store and stealing alcohol and cash.

Police said that at around 5:30 a.m. Monday, an unknown black male suspect forced his way through the front door of Integrity PC, located in McKee Crossing on College Road. Investigators said that when the suspect realized that it was not Universal Liquors- which was the business he was trying to burglarize- he immediately left.

Police said the suspect then went next door to Universal Liquors and forced his way through the front window of the business. Once inside, he reportedly removed three bottles of liquor and an undisclosed amount of money, then fled the store through the same window he entered and ran in a westbound direction.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity is asked to call the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted to law enforcement through tip lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or online at www.tipsubmit.com.
