Man Gets 3 Life Terms for Killing Salisbury Woman

SALISBURY, Md. (AP/WBOC) - A Salisbury man has been sentenced to three concurrent life terms for killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend's mother in a rampage last year.
Myles Lyons, 21, pleaded guilty in October to first-degree murder for shooting 39-year-old Lakisha Jackson in November 2012. He also pleaded guilty to 19 other offenses.
Lyons was sentenced Friday in Wicomico County Circuit Court.
According to prosecutors, Lyons fatally shot Lakisha Jackson, shot and stabbed his ex-girlfriend Nicole Jackson, and shot her sister, Tyisha Jackson.
The two sisters survived, and Nicole Jackson's baby was safely delivered the same day as the shootings.
