Salisbury Police Arrest One, Search for Second Suspect


SALISBURY, Md. –  Salisbury Police have identified and arrested one suspect in an attempted armed robbery that happened on Dec. 22.

Police arrested Tavon Jabire Tull, 18, of Salisbury, Christmas morning at 9:53 a.m. Police are still searching for a second suspect in the case.

Police say Tull and a second suspect knocked on the door of a residence on the 700 block of E. Church St. When the victim answered, police say the two pulled the victim outside, hit him in the head, demanded money, and flashed a handgun.

Police say the victim yelled for help and a friend came out of the house. After a brief struggle both suspects left. Nothing was taken and the victim suffered minor injuries.

A witness helped lead police to the arrest of Tull. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20 years of age, 5'8'', and thin.
