LONG NECK, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have charged three brothers in connection with a marijuana growing operation at a Sussex County home.

Police say medics dispatched for a medical emergency on Cattail Lane in Long Neck on Thursday spotted a gun and a grow operation and called in troopers.

While 24-year-old Zachary Zimmer was taken to Beebe Medical Center for treatment of ingestion of a pain medication, police say they obtained a search warrant. Police say the search turned up four guns, more than 94 grams of suspected marijuana including equipment to grow the plants, drug paraphernalia and fireworks.

Zimmer and his brothers, 32-year-old Kyle and 29-year-old Trevor, were charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and other charges.
