Man Charged for Building Destructive Devices

Posted:

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) - The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says a Glen Burnie man has been charged with building destructive devices in home.

Authorities say 28-year-old Todd Dwight Wheeler Jr. was charged late Thursday with manufacturing a destructive device, possessing a destructive device and reckless endangerment. Online court documents do not list a lawyer for Wheeler.

Fire officials say the investigation began Wednesday night after a person was hurt by a chemical or mechanical reaction. County police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have been investigating.
