Crisfield Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Pedestrian-Car Collision


CRISFIELD, Md.-Maryland State Police said that around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, troopers with the Princess Anne Barrack, Somerset County Sheriff's Office and Crisfield Police Department responded to the area of Main Street Extension and State Street for a car collision involving a pedestrian.

Police said the initial investigation revealed that 34-year-old Lakisha Renee Lancaster of Crisfield and a car were both traveling eastbound when the driver, 69-year-old Frank Dale also of Crisfiled hit her. 

Police said Lancaster had severe injuries from the collision. EMS treated and transported her to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

No word yet if any charges will be filed.
