Easton Police Look For Attempted Robbery Suspect

EASTON, Md.-Easton Police are looking for a suspect they said was involved in an attempted robbery at the 7-Eleven on Washington Street.

Police said the incident happened at around 12:30 a.m.on Saturday.

They said a man wearing a mask came into the store and demand money from the store clerk. 

The store clerk told police that the robber did not get any cash and took off.

Using surveillance video, police describe the suspect as a 6-feet tall and stocky build black man wearing a black ski mask, a maroon sweatshirt with OKLAHOMA printed on the front, dark colored sweat pants and black shoes. 

Police said the robber was also carrying a blue bag, which the video surveillance shows was placed on the counter while the suspect demanded money. 

Detectives believe that the robber left the area in a car. No one was injured during this crime. 

The investigation is ongoing and police urge anyone with information about this crime to come forward.
