Police Investigate Dollar General Store Armed Robbery

BEAR, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Dollar General store on Pulaski Highway.

It happened on Wednesday at 8:28 p.m.

Police say a black female suspect approached a store cashier, flashed a handgun, and demanded money.

Police say the cashier couldn't open the register, but say the manager then stepped in and opened a different register to give the suspect cash.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the armed robbery.

The suspect is described as a black female, 5-foot-7 and with an average build.
