Stevensville Fire Causes Multi-Million Dollar Damage

STEVENSVILLE, Md. – The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a multi-million dollar fire in Queen Anne's County.

It happened at 3:46 a.m. in the 900 block of Broadcreek Drive in Stevensville.

Firefighters from Kent Island, Grasonville, United Communities, and Queenstown volunteer fire departments responded to the fire.

The Fire Marshal says a 7,200-square-foot, two story wood framed single family home caught fire.

The home was built in 1993.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
