For this collaboration, Ashley Smith--the newest RVCA Advocate--created a signature capsule collection to debut in conjunction with the brand's core Fall / Winter 2014 collection. RVCA's aesthetic highlights the balance of opposites, an idea that speaks to 23-year-old Smith, who is known for her wide-gapped smile and sexy silhouette. For this collection, Smith drew from her younger days wearing punk rock tees with hardcore colored hair, memories ingrained that blend now with living as a model in fast-paced Manhattan. Colorblocked letterman sweaters and baseball tees find an unexpected pairing with sleek leather shorts and jackets, while flowy hair scarves bring daisy-chain sweetness to an old-school tough backpack.
