LEWES, Del. – The Beebe Medical Foundation has a new director of development.

The foundation named Thomas J. Protack to the post. As director, Protack will work with the Boards of Beebe Healthcare and the Beebe Medical Foundation, and the Foundation's Board of Ambassadors to raise awareness and financial support for Beebe and the health services it provides, Beebe says.

"On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Beebe Medical Foundation, I extend a warm welcome to Tom," said Judy Aliquo, President and CEO of the Beebe Medical Foundation. "He comes with literally a lifetime of experience in Sussex County, working with non-profit organizations raising awareness about their missions and at the same time raising the necessary funds to support those missions.

Protack and Aliquo will work together to bring in new donors by attending community events and gatherings.

Protack says he is excited about his new position.

"I can attest personally to the wonderful care my own father has received from the highly skilled and  compassionate  doctors, nurses and staff here at Beebe over the years," Mr. Protack said. "It is a pure joy to now join the Beebe Healthcare team. I look forward to working collaboratively with our leadership, staff, donors and great volunteers."

Beebe Healthcare is a not-for-profit community healthcare system with a charitable mission to encourage healthy living while preventing illness. It offers services throughout Southern Delaware.
