DELMAR, Md.- Police have arrested a 65-year-old Delmar, Md., man accused of punching his wife in the face.

William Henry McCullom is charged with second-degree assault.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said McCullum's arrest stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred Wednesday at his home on the 29000 block of West Line Road. According to police, when the responding deputy arrived at the home, he met with McCullom's wife who stated that she had been in an argument with McCullom, who punched her in the face. Police said signs of injury supported the claims of McCullom's wife.

Following his arrest on the aforementioned charge, McCullom was released on $10,000 bond.
