Police Continue Search for Dover Armed Robbery Suspect

Updated:

DOVER, Del.- Authorities have released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in connection with last month's armed robbery of the Walgreen's pharmacy on South State Street in Dover.

Dover police said that at around 9:29 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, the unknown suspect entered the business and pointed a gun at an employee.

According to investigators, the suspect forced the employee to open the cash register and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled toward the rear of the store and headed in the direction of Carol's Corner Shopping Center. He may have fled in a green Cadillac Deville with tinted windows, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male, medium complexion, between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-tall, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and red sweatpants with an unknown brand of hiking shoes/boots.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111.  You may also submit an anonymous tip with Delaware Crime Stoppers by phone at: 1-800-847-3333 or online at:  http://delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
