LEWES, Del. (AP/WBOC)- A Sussex County house once owned by a former pediatrician convicted of raping scores of patients is being donated to a nearby church.
An anonymous donor is giving the Lewes house once owned by Earl Bradley to Bethel United Methodist Church. The church's latest newsletter announces the gift and one from another anonymous donor, who offered $100,000 for improvements to the property.
The church agreed to accept both gifts, but leaders haven't decided how to use the house and property.
Bradley, now 60, is serving 14 life sentences plus 164 years for raping and sexually abusing children he treated. He was convicted after a one-day trial in June 2011.
