Salisbury Police Searching for Drive-by Shooting Suspect

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police continue to look for a suspect in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred Monday night on the 900 block of East Church Street.

Officer were called to the scene just after 9 p.m. in reference to an assault with a firearm.  According to police, the victim, identified as Kyle Cromwell-Neal, was walking down the street when a vehicle drove by and fired several shots.

Authorities said Cromwell-Neal was shot once in the thigh. He was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. Police said the investigation into the incident revealed that one of the projectiles struck a house and broke a window. No one inside the home was injured.

Police said they continue to search for a suspect who is described as a black male, wearing a black hat, black clothing, black gloves and in possession of a black handgun. The suspect vehicle is described the vehicle as a tan, late 1990s model Ford Explorer with silver hub caps and Maryland tags.

Anyone with information about this incident should call the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.
