Wesley College's Elizsha Streeter Named Track Athlete of the Wee

YORK, Pa. Wesley College's Elizsha Streeter has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.  This is the first time that Streeter has earned a CAC weekly honor and the first for a Wolverines women's track & field athlete this season.

A freshman from Hagerstown, Md., Streeter won both the 55m and 200m Dash and also anchored the 4x400m Relay to a victory at the Muhlenberg Invitational last weekend.  Streeter took the short sprint in a school-record 7.39 which converted to a 7.96 in the 60m Dash.  Streeter's 26.51 winning performance in the 200m Dash was converted to a 25.85 and she currently ranks 14th nationally in the event.

Streeter and the Wolverines return to the track on Saturday, February 1 at the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason University.
