1 Dead After Shooting at Md. Police Officer's Home

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP)- Montgomery County police say one person is dead and another is critically injured after a shooting at a county police officer's Gaithersburg home.

The shooting occurred at a home on Lake Katrine Terrace on Wednesday night. Police say one person is dead and another person was taken to a hospital in critical condition and the off-duty officer was involved.

Police say they will release more information after other family members have been notified.
