Man Charged in Arson Incident at Millington Gas Station

KENT COUNTY, Md.-Deputy State Fire Marshals charged 40-year-old Jesse William Ford with arson related charges after they said he set gasoline on fire at the Tailgate Market service station in Millington.

The incident happened around 2 a.m.Friday morning.

Authorities said Ford pumped gasoline on the ground near the gas pumps and intentionally ignited the vapors.

They said Ford then drove away. Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and determined the suspect seen in the video was Ford.

Ford was charged with second degree arson and malicious burning.

He is being held on $15,000 at the Queen Anne's County Detention Center.
