SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland's tax-free weekend is coming up and Delmarva Power says its customers can get rebate checks on Energy Star appliances.

Delmarva Power said its customers are eligible for its appliance rebate program during the state's tax-free weekend, Feb. 15-17.

Customers will not pay the state's 6% sales tax when they purchase select Energy Star products, including standard size refrigerators, clothes washers, room air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heat pumps and compact fluorescent light bulbs, according to Delmarva Power.

Maryland customers who purchase the energy efficient appliances can apply for a rebate. Delmarva Power said the value of the rebates range from $25 to $350.
