TILGHMAN ISLAND, Md. – A Tilghman Island waterman's body was found floating alongside his boat, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police.

Police said Michael Craig Larrimore, 54, was last seen Sunday morning by the owner of a business at Dogwood Harbor Marina. By dinner time Monday, police said a friend of Larrimore's called the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Department.

First responders recovered Larrimore's body between the bulkhead and the boat, according to police.

Family members said Larrimore had been living on the boat for about a week.

Larrimore's body was taken to Baltimore on Tuesday for an autopsy.
