Storm Winds Damage Dover Habitat Building

DOVER, Del.- Strong winds from a Friday afternoon storm are to blame for damaging part of the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity ReStore building in Dover. 

A tree branch punctured the roof of the facility. Habitat officials said the damage was minor but it was bad enough to cause water to leak in, damaging the rear of the store.

There were customers inside the store at the time but no one was hurt.

The store is closed for the rest of the day for safety precautions.
