Delaware Faces More Snow

DOVER, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Delaware's governor is warning motorists to be cautious as another snowstorm visits the state.
 
Gov. Jack Markell declared a state of emergency for Monday and closed the state government. The city of Wilmington is closed Monday and all three county governments, all public school districts and several colleges are closed as well.
 
The National Weather Service is now forecasting less snow than before, since the storm is traveling further south than expected. Forecasters now expect 6 inches to 8 inches in Kent and Sussex counties and 2 inches to 6 inches in New Castle County. A winter storm warning is effect until 4 p.m.
 
The Delaware Department of Transportation says road crews are plowing and salting primary routes around state. Interstate 495's speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph.
