Easton to go into Snow Emergency Phase II

EASTON, Md.- The Town of Easton announced it will be going to Snow Emergency Phase II at 4 p.m.

In addition to the Phase I conditions that require vehicles travelling the streets of Easton to be
equipped with chains or tires permitted by the state for use during snow emergencies:

  • No Parking is permitted on the streets at metered spaces and locations designated as a
    "Snow Emergency Route" Those in violation of the parking restriction shall be fined and
    their vehicle towed.

The Snow Emergency Routes are:

  • Washington Street: North Easton Parkway to Lee Terrace
  • Dover Street: Higgins Street to the Municipal Lot beyond the District Court Building
    (West side)
  • West Street: Bay Street to Glenwood Avenue
  • Federal Street: Washington Street to West Street
  • Harrison Street: Goldsborough Street to South Lane
  • Goldsborough Street: Washington Street to Aurora Street
  • Idlewild Avenue: Aurora Street to Washington Street
  • Glenwood Avenue: North side of the street only from Washington Street to Easton
    Parkway
