PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team has announced that several of the upcoming games will be rescheduled.

The recent weather has made the field conditions unsuitable for play. The Hawks were set to play six games over a five-day span. The squad was supposed to play in two double headers this weekend against NJIT. Those match-ups have been postponed and will not be played in a single doubleheader format to be played on Saturday, May 10.

UMES two games at Mount St. Marys next Tuesday and Wednesday have been moved to a doubleheader on Monday Match 10 beginning at 11 a.m. The doubleheader will be a nine-inning contest for the first game and will be capped off with a seven-inning match-up later that day.

The games will be played at Hartford Community College (Md.).
