CAMDEN, Del.- Authorities are investigating a Tuesday night fire that caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to a home in Camden.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office said the blaze was reported by the home's occupants shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Vining Run in the Pharsalia Development.

The Camden-Wyoming Fire Company responded to the call and arrived with heavy fire and smoke coming from the attic of the single story home. All occupants escaped without injury, investigators said.

Assistance was requested from several neighboring fire companies with the fire placed under control at 12:42 a.m. with no injuries reported.

Deputy State Fire Marshals responded to investigate the fire, with the cause of the fire under investigation. The home was equipped with operating smoke detectors.

Damages are estimated at $200,000.
