Fire Marshal's Office Investigates Laurel House Fire

LAUREL, Del.-The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that happened in Laurel.

Authorities said the fire severely damaged a single story home with an attached garage.
 
The fire happened around 3:00 a.m. in the 14000 block of West Court, Shiloh Farms.

Crews from the the Laurel Fire Department were assisted by Blades, Georgetown, and Millsboro Volunteer Fire Companies to extinguish the flames.
    
The State Fire Marshal's office said the house was occupied at the time of the fire but there were no reported fire injuries.
 
Investigators were called to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire. The investigation is continuing at this time.
 
Total fire loss was estimated at $200,000.
