SALISBURY, Md. – Three Salisbury men are being held on bond after police found a stolen handgun and marijuana in a car they were in.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office said Anthony Hardy Jr., 20, was driving on Delaware Avenue at Salisbury Parkway and was pulled over for an equipment violation. The deputy saw two passengers in the car, Ryan Cannon, 22, and Evan Byrd, 17, and detected marijuana.
The deputy searched the vehicle and found a loaded semi-automatic handgun that had a round chambered and a bag of cocaine, according to the sheriff’s office.
The deputy inquired about the handgun and discovered it was reported stolen through the State of Delaware.
All three men were arrested and detained on bond. Hardy was held on $150,000, Cannon on $75,000, and Byrd on $50,000.
