Police Search for Two Suspects in Armed Robbery

DOVER, Del.– Delaware State Police are asking the public’s help in finding two suspects wanted for holding up a Dover convenience store.

It happened Thursday at 10:35 p.m. at the Shore Stop on 1612 South Dupont Highway.

Police said the two suspects went into the store together. According to investigators, one of the suspects flashed a handgun and demanded money from the 31-year-old female cashier. The other suspect stole cigarettes. The suspects got an undisclosed amount of cash and left, police said.

No one was injured.

The suspects were described as follows:
  • White male, 22-30 years of age, approximately 6-foot-tall, thin build, with clothing over his face. He was armed with a handgun.
  • Black male, 22-28 years of age, approximately 5-foot-7 and average build.
