Troopers Investigate Robbery of Dover Store

DOVER, Del- Troopers are investigating an armed robbery of Mike's Food Mart in Dover.

Police said it happened around 4:30 pp.m. Saturdayafternoon at 1272 South Governors Avenue.

Authorities said a man entered the store and showed a demand note to a 37-year-old male clerk. Police said the suspect appeared to have a gun in his pants pocket.

Authorities said the clerk opened a cash register and the suspect took the money and took off.

No one was injured during this incident.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall., thin build.

There is no further physical or clothing description available. Police also said there is no video surveillance available for release
