DOVER, Del.- Police are asking the public's help in locating a person of interest wanted in connection with a string of robbery incidents that occurred last weekend in Dover.

Dover police are looking for 26-year-old Cameron Gibbs, who has a last known address of 46 Ann Verona Court in Dover. According to investigators, Gibbs is currently on probation and has an arrest warrant from Delaware State Police Troop 3 for shoplifting and an active capias for shoplifting from the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.

The first of the three robbery incidents occurred at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Jolly Joe's Liquor Store on White Oak Road. Police said a black female suspect entered the store and handed the cashier a note that indicated she had a gun and demanded money. The clerk initially refused but police said the suspect was able to open the cash register and grab an undisclosed amount cash from it.  The suspect then left the store and fled in an unknown direction in what was described as an older “rust colored” vehicle. Police additionally described the suspect as heavyset and wearing a black top and a black stocking that partially covered her face.

The second robbery incident occurred at around 1 a.m. Sunday, at the Relax Inn Hotel on South DuPont Highway. The hotel clerk told officers she observed an older and faded red pickup truck enter the parking lot. The clerk stated that she then saw three people getting out of the pickup, possibly two black males and a black female. The clerk said a female suspect then entered the foyer area and slipped a handwritten note/envelope under the the glass that stated “Give me your cash and put it in this envelope.”  When the clerk refused to comply with the suspect's demands, the suspect reportedly began striking the glass with a large metal pipe.  The suspect then fled after the unsuccessful robbery attempt.  No money was taken from the business and no injuries were reported to the victim.  The clerk described the suspect as between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-3, 100-110 pounds and wearing all black, with black gloves, and black stocking that only covered half of her face.

The third incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the Days Inn Hotel on North DuPont Highway. The hotel clerk told police that a black female entered the hotel lobby and stated, “This is a robbery, I have a gun. Give me all the money from the register.”  The clerk refused the the suspect's demands and then the suspect then ran southbound from the hotel. Investigators believe the suspect may have entered a vehicle parked at the Race Track Car Wash adjacent to the hotel property and fled in the vehicle.  The suspect is described as a black female, possibly in her 30s, wearing a black stocking, black coat, dark pants, dark shoes and pink gloves.
