Rocket Launch in June, Says Wallops


WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. – Get ready for lift off!

The Orbital-2 cargo resupply mission is scheduled to launch Tuesday, June 10 at 2:07 a.m., according to NASA Wallops Flight Facility.

Wallops said Cygnus will arrive at the space station on June 13 and will remain at the orbiting laboratory until July 11.

The launch, now scheduled for June 10, will be the second of eight planned cargo missions by Orbital Sciences for NASA under the agency’s $1.9 billion contract with the company, according to Wallops.
