VA Chamber of Commerce 19th Annual "FANTASTIC 50" Awards Banquet
ARLINGTON, Va., May 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Arlington-based government professional services firm Millennium Corporation was honored by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce at their annual "FANTASTIC 50" awards banquet. Millennium Corporation was presented with the Virginia Vanguard Award for the "Highest Growth Rate Overall of the Virginia Fantastic 50." The ceremony was held at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA, on May 1, 2014.
The 2014 "Virginia FANTASTIC 50" awards recognize the top 50 fastest growing companies in Virginia, based on revenue earnings over a four year period. This is a statewide award that recognizes businesses in all types of industries. Over 500 people representing the 50 fastest growing businesses, sponsors and government officials were in attendance at the ceremony. The awardees were spotlighted as their companies received awards for their entrepreneurial success and contribution to Virginia's economic vitality. The Fantastic 50 has been dominated for many years by service and technology companies, many of which are government contractors. Arlington businesses took ten of the "FANTASTIC 50" slots, representing the highest from Arlington to date.

FANTASTIC 50 The recipients of the "FANTASTIC 50" awards were selected statewide from local chambers development organizations, small business development centers, and through the sponsors' networks. To be eligible companies were required to be privately held, headquartered in Virginia, and had to show sales revenue between $200 thousand and $100 million. Verification of all award entries was conducted by the accounting firm of Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP.
