DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police say two men are behind bars after drugs were found during a traffic stop in Dover.

Police said they stopped an SUV shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on South DuPont Highway. Troopers said when they had the driver, Wayne Mason, 46, of Camden, and the passenger, Keith Golden, 23, of Dover, step out of the SUV, they spotted a bag containing crack cocaine (.2 gram) on the seat where Mason had been sitting.

Both men were taken into custody and brought to Troop 3. Police said a search of Golden resulted in the recovery of two bags hidden in his underwear. One bag contained 2.5 grams of marijuana, the other contained 1 gram of crack cocaine, 15 Endocet pills, and one Oxycodone pill, investigators said.

Mason was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and second-degree conspiracy. He was released on $7,500 unsecured bail.

Golden was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, second-degree conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $16,000 secured bail.
