Seaford Man Killed in Crash

Posted:
SEAFORD, De. - Delaware State police are investigating a single car crash early Saturday morning that left an 18-year-old man dead.

Police say Adrian J. Holt of Seaford was traveling on Route 13 just north of Bethel Concord Road in the right hand lane at a high speed.  Police say for undetermined reasons, Holt's Jeep went off the right side of the road.  The vehicle then veered back to the left, crossing the northbound lanes of Route 13 and onto the grass median, overturning multiple times.  Holt was thrown from his vehicle.

Police say Holt was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained multiple traumatic injuries.  He was pronounced dead at Christiana Hospital Trauma Center.  Police say there preliminary investigation shows the drugs and alcohol did not play a part in the crash in Seaford.
