Bicyclist Injured in Rehoboth Hit-and-run

REHOBOTH, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are looking for a driver who seriously injured a bicyclist in Rehoboth Beach and left the scene.

It happened about 1:20 p.m. Monday on Holland Glade Road. Troopers said 70-year-old Victor Epolito, of Milton, was riding his bicycle east when a vehicle hit the back of the bike.

Police said Epolito was thrown from his bike onto the road. The vehicle that hit him did not stop.

Troopers said Epolito was taken to Beebe Medical Center with serious injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

Police have no description of the vehicle or the driver.
