CAMDEN, Del. - The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office has arrested a Camden man for arson and related charges stemming from two vehicle fires and a house fire early Tuesday morning.

The fires were reported just before 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Loretta Drive. The Camden-Wyoming Fire Company responded to the call. Flames and smoke were coming from the two story home and two vehicles parked at the residence. With assistance from neighboring fire companies, the fire was under control at 1:52 a.m.

Deputy Fire Marshals responded and determined the fire to the home and vehicles to be arson. The investigation led to the arrest of Courtney Goode Jr., 38, of Camden. Goode was being held on charges related to a domestic dispute that occurred prior to the arsons. He was charged with three counts of 2nd degree arson and one count of 2nd degree burglary.

Goode was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to JTVCC in lieu of $34,000 cash bail.

The fire caused approximate $60,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.
