Del. Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash

CAMDEN, Del.  – A Dover man has died from the injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash west of Camden late last month.

Police say the accident happened at approximately 3:37 p.m. on Sunday May 25, 2014 as John F. Decleene Jr., 55 of Dover, was operating a 1993 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Fox Hole Road, just east of Tobacco Road.  As Decleene was attempting to turn right into a private residence located in the 1000 block of Fox Hole Road, he lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected into the roadway.

According to police, John Decleene, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported and admitted to Kent General Hospital where he succumbed to multiple traumatic injuries on Saturday May 31, 2014.

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing their investigation into this incident.
