Suspect Sought in Berlin Wal-Mart Theft and Assault

BERLIN, Md.- The Worcester County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for an alleged theft and assault incident that occurred Saturday at the Berlin Wal-Mart.

Investigators said the suspect was stopped by the store's loss prevention unit, and became combative before fleeing from the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male with gray to blonde hair and approximately 5-foot-11. Anyone with information about the suspect's identity is asked to call the Worcester County Sheriff's Office at (410) 632-1111 and ask for Cpl. Dale Trotter.
